31 October - 01 November 2025
Katharinensaal of the Stadtkirche Wittenberg, Germany
Our Protestant National Churches are in crisis.
Political slogans, ethical confusion, and even foreign deities are displacing the central aspect of our faith: the Cross of Christ. How should we react as confessing Christians?
At “Echoing Wittenberg 2025” we invited you to imitate the example of the Reformers: turning back to the beauty of the biblical faith and professing it boldly, out of love. Through a public witness and inspiring speeches, we encouraged one other to contend for the faith once given to the saints — within our Churches.
Thank you for joining us in Wittenberg, the womb of the Reformation, in this ecumenical effort to spark a movement for the renewal of the Protestant Churches.

At Crossbearer, we embrace the symbolic mission of carrying the cross of Christ.
Our aim is to fortify Christianity within the Protestant tradition, fostering identity, orthodoxy, and community across European churches.
Rooted in historical Christianity, we stand against secular influences and the dilution of core values. Through unwavering commitment, we build resilient, united congregations, contributing to the flourishing of the Protestant heritage in Europe.

Dr. Stefan Felber is a pastor, theologian, and currently serves as the chairman of the Gemeindehilfsbund (Church Support Association). He taught Old Testament for many years at the Theological Seminary St. Chrischona and is a guest lecturer at the Independent Theological University of Basel. He is passionately committed to faithful, Bible-based preaching and teaching. With his deep theological insight, pastoral experience, and strong commitment to the authority of Scripture, he stands for spiritually grounded and responsible church ministry.

Out of love for the truth, and from a desire to elucidate it, we intend to defend the following theses in the Synods of the Churches that emerged from the Protestant Reformation.
With grief we observe how our Churches, having once proclaimed the Christian faith, are now neglecting it and abandoning it in ever-increasing degrees. As Christians, we are called to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints, and so we want to imitate the courage of Martin Luther by publishing these 95 theses as a protest against the current grievances.
We kindly ask all members of our Churches who uphold these theses to support our cause and sign this statement. We heartily ask our brothers and sisters in the Church catholic to stand with us, as it is our common faith that is being contradicted. Likewise, we kindly ask anyone who disagrees with us and wishes to point us to a more accurate exposition of the holy Scriptures to engage in dialogue with us.
